Needlepoint copper-plated screws are made from stainless steel and have a copper coating for enhanced corrosion resistance. Like copper, they will develop an attractive patina over time, but they are stronger than pure copper and will not snap or break.

Once the initial thread cuts through the material, a second thread forms to the tip to help drill the screw in faster. With their fast-driving abilities, copper-plated ZIP screws can be used for fastening heavier pieces of sheet metal quickly and easily.
